Sequoia brings critical experience as a coordinator with a strong background in supporting operational excellence. Before joining ESSR, Sequoia played a pivotal role in the Office of the Mayor of the City of Antioch, where she coordinated a wide range of official mayoral events, special ceremonies, public appearances, media engagements, and press conferences.

Additionally, Sequoia has a solid understanding of governance logistics, having served as the Board of Trustees Secretary for the Los Medanos Community Healthcare District. In this capacity, she prepared meeting agendas and packets, took minutes, and ensured that the Healthcare District's records were maintained per policy. In 2019, she was certified as a Board Clerk by the CA Special Districts Association.

In both roles, Sequoia was responsible for managing complex calendars, handling sensitive and confidential information, coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, overseeing projects, and serving as the primary point of contact.
